A selection of work created during my time at Sainsbury’s.

A mix of digital assets created for both the website and app , from eye-catching display banners to functional components designed to enhance the customer browsing experience.

Interactive
features.

Each season, Sainsbury’s introduces new products, but standard packaging photography doesn’t always stand out online. To help bring summer produce to life, we used photography from our seasonal shoot to create an interactive experience. Customers could hover over featured items and add them to their basket, making the journey from inspiration to checkout more seamless.

We also developed a countdown timer concept for bank holiday weekend, designed to create a sense of urgency and encourage customers to stock up in time.

Bundles.

With food categories segmented online, it can be difficult for customers to piece together full meals. To solve this, we introduced bundles that appeared alongside relevant searches.

For example, when a user searched for "carrots," we might display a banner promoting a spaghetti bolognese recipe, allowing them to add all the necessary ingredients with one click. We explored a wide range of bundle ideas, from chilli con carne and stir-fry kits to fajita wraps and even cocktail ingredients.

Recipes.

I designed bright, playful visuals for Sainsbury’s recipe pages to make the dishes feel approachable and appealing. The goal was to make each recipe instantly recognisable, while keeping the layout clean and easy to navigate.

Part of a wider campaign encouraging healthier eating through simple, tasty meals. “Better for your health, better for the planet, better value or better choices—we’re committed to making a difference.”
